Aptly named for the island green at its conclusion, the 18th is a classic risk/reward par 5 and provides a wonderful end to the round of golf.  Just long enough to provide the golfer with the option of going for the green in two, the play from the tees it to avoid the strong drive bunkers at the first landing zone, and attempt to catch the chute behind them that leads the ball further down the fairway.  From here, the golfer is faced with a mid iron to lay up short of the water that separates the island green from the fairway, or to take the heroic option of going for the green.  With some majestic camphors amongst the landscaping guarding the back of the green, and the elegant clubhouse further in the background, the golf hole sets the scene for a wonderful finish to a truly memorable round of golf.
